VA and government replies
When a Veterans Affairs department or another government office agrees to reply by fax, give them a temporary number that stays active while you wait.
Applications · Agency correspondenceAn office says, “We'll fax it back.” Now you have somewhere for it to go. Rent a temporary fax number, give it to the sender, and open the reply in your private online inbox.
For offices that offer fax replies. TidyFax is not affiliated with any government agency.
One prepaid rental term. No recurring subscription.
You've submitted a form, filed a request, or contacted an office. Everything is going fine until they ask, “What's your fax number?”
That's what renting a fax number is for. Get one for the expected return window, share it with the office, and check the reply online instead of finding a physical machine.
See how receiving worksYou may only need it once, or you may need an ongoing number. Either way, the goal is the same: don't miss a reply just because it arrives by fax.

Only the verified account holder can use an active rental as a sender or open its received documents. When the rental expires, the number enters a 60-day quarantine and requires review before any possible reuse.
Number quarantine does not extend your ability to receive faxes or determine how long documents are kept. For protected medical records, the appropriate HIPAA receiving workflow must be available and approved before use.
